Within Pioneers into Practice, a program by Climate-KIC, Inspiring Change hosted a young pioneer Valters Muzikants from Latvia. Valters worked on research towards a solution within the Climate-friendly Food Systems and Diets challenge.
The results of his research are tackling the challenge of food waste, with recommendations and observed opportunities for resolving this challenge by seeing food waste as a resource. The publication and recommendations were written with the principles of circular economy in mind, led by a zero-waste ideology.
